Good day,

We will be conducting our regular training night on 25 Sept 26 at the Armoury. This week will be our first CO's Parade of the training year.  There will be some promotions as well.  Dress is C1 (Blue Dress uniform); if you do not have this uniform, then wear FTU.

This weekend, we will be starting most of our Saturday activities, open to all cadets interested.  See the list below for those activities and times.

Here is what we have planned for this weekend:

• Marksmanship Saturday: 1200-1400hrs

• Drill team Saturday: 1400-1600hrs

• Guard Saturday: 1600-1700hrs

• Band Sunday: 1300–1500 hrs

• Ground School Monday: 1830-2100hrs

As our squadron is at or near capacity, with others waiting to join at various times throughout the year, we have decided to implement an attendance policy with a goal that the cadets who wish to be active with the squadron will be able to do so. With that said, any cadet missing 4 consecutive mandatory training nights WITHOUT prior written notification to squadron staff will be removed to make room for cadets waiting to join. To avoid this from happening to your Cadet, you must email staff in advance if your cadet will be absent from training.

For the safety of the cadets, please do not drop them off and drive away. Please ensure that they can actually get inside the building first. That way, we do not have cadets standing outside, in the weather, unsupervised. With regard to safety, I ask that NO vehicle drop-off or pick-up happen in the armoury parking lot. Please use Carleton St, in front of the library, for all drop off/pick up. Cadets will enter & exit the building via the side door on Carleton St.
