Good day

There will not be any more regular training on Friday evenings until Sept as we have concluded the 25/26 training year. There may be more weekend optional activities but not until next month.

As I had mentioned before, This Saturday, 23 May 2026, is our annual Awards Gala. This is Mandatory for all cadets to attend. It will be a Potluck style dinner where each family will bring a dish to share. I said, in a previous email to make enough for 20 people, I realized that is a bit much. If each household cooks enough for 10-12 people, I think that would ensure there is enough for everyone. Also, if you were to bring a dish from your own culture, others will get a chance to try something they may never have a chance to eat. I am sure the SSC has discussed this with you.

Where:           Christ Church, 245 Westmorland St, Fredericton;

When:             1500 – 1700 (seated by 1500); and

Dress:             C1/FTU/Business Casual (same dress as the ACR).

Il n'y aura plus d'entraînement régulier le vendredi soir avant septembre, puisque nous avons terminé l'année de formation 25/26. Il pourrait y avoir plus d'activités optionnelles le week-end, mais pas avant le mois prochain.

Comme je l'ai mentionné plus tôt, ce samedi 23 mai 2026, c'est notre gala annuel de remise des prix. C'est obligatoire pour tous les cadets d'y assister. Ce sera un souper de type potluck où chaque famille apportera un plat à partager. J'ai dit, dans un courriel précédent, pour en faire assez pour 20 personnes, que je me suis rendu compte que c'était un peu trop. Si chaque foyer cuisine assez pour 10 à 12 personnes, je pense que ça garantirait qu'il y en ait assez pour tout le monde. Aussi, si vous apportez un plat de votre propre culture, d'autres auront la chance d'essayer quelque chose qu'ils n'auront peut-être jamais la chance de manger. Je suis certain que le SSC en a discuté avec vous.

Tenue vestimentaire :        C1/FTU/Business Casual (même tenue que l'ACR).
